The membership shall consist of people who have accepted the Lord Jesus as their personal Savior, who are willing to follow Him as He has commanded in the Bible, and who have been baptized with New Testament baptism, immersion following conversion.

 

How Do I Become a Member of Calvary Baptist Church?

You can become a member by:

1) Transferring your letter of membership from another Baptist Church.

2) By statement of your profession of faith in Christ and believer’s baptism by immersion in a
    church of like faith and practice.

3) By making a public profession of faith in Christ and following Him in believer’s baptism.

           
What is the process?

Step #1) You can either come forward during the invitation at the end of the Sunday morning worship service OR you can call the church office (859-491-1955) and make your request known to the secretary.

Step #2) Attend the next scheduled 4-week “Welcome Class.”  This class meets during the Sunday morning Bible School hour and explains what it means to be a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Step #3) Complete the one-page membership application (part of the Welcome Class).

Step #4) Share your salvation experience with one of our deacons (part of the Welcome Class).

Step #5) Those that need to be baptized will be baptized at the next scheduled baptismal service.

Step #6) All will be voted on and extended the “Right Hand of Christian Fellowship” on a scheduled Sunday evening service.
