As Silver Refined: Learning to Embrace Life’s Disappointments (Women’s Study)….....……..E-15
Women, are you disappointed that life is not turning out like you planned? When disappointments force their way into your life, you may want to scream, “How could God let this happen?” But what if God didn’t just “let it happen”? What if the things you call disappointments are really His appointments – events He is using to make you more like Christ? What if He is using your disappointments like flames to melt and burn away the undesirable elements in your life, leaving you pure and radiant – like refined silver? In this study facilitated by Eileen Kees,Kay Arthur paints a graphic picture of the dangerous downward spiral of disappointment that can lead to discouragement, depression, or even despair; but you can learn to break that cycle. College Age & Young Single Adults............Various Locations
The College Age (CAM) and Young Single Adults’ (GAP) small groups meet on Sunday evening. There are no groups currently meeting on Wednesday evenings. Instead, Wednesday evenings for the CAM and GAP groups are wonderful opportunities to plug into other ETS groups or serve in other ministries taking place on Wednesday evenings. Financial Peace University……………………..E-01
This practical 13-week program teaches us how to apply sound financial principles to our lives as we learn about cash-flow planning, giving, mortgages, insurance, investments, real estate, credit reports, college planning, and retirement. Majoring on the Minors.………………………..E-02
In Majoring on the Minors, James Farnsworth will lead us as we study the 12 prophetic books of the Old Testament commonly known as the Minor Prophets. Come join us as we delve into these ancient classics with life lessons about God’s holiness, the covenants of Israel, and applications for the church today. This study will extend through both the Winter and Spring sessions. There is an optional textbook available for purchase in the Calvary Bookstore entitled, The Minor Prophets, by Charles Feinberg.

Jeremiah 33:3 Prayer Group.…………………..E-14
In Jeremiah 33:3, God encourages us with the words, “Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” It is very comforting to remember that God is Sovereign, that He has a purpose and a plan for every one of His children, and that He cares about every aspect of our lives. Join this group as they pray passionately and specifically for the needs of Calvary Baptist Church, our pastors, leaders, and ministries.

The Attributes of God………………….Auditorium
The Scriptures tell us that no man has seen God (John 1:18, I John 4:12). Yet, the Bible describes Him, nature points to Him, and His Son, Jesus Christ, reveals Him. This study, led by Pastor Bill Dickens, will help us “get to know” our Heavenly Father by studying His attributes. “. . . but the people who know their God will display strength and take action” (Daniel 11:32b). This study will extend through both the Winter and Spring sessions.

The Way of the Master – Basic Course….E-06
Based on the award-winning TV series “The Way of the Master,” this video course is specially formatted to train believers to simply and confidently share the gospel with family, friends, and strangers. Moderators Kirk Cameron and Ray Comfort will teach you to overcome your fears by using a proven, powerfully effective way to make the gospel make sense. You will learn an important biblical principle of bypassing the intellect (the place of argument) and speaking directly to the conscience (the place of the knowledge of right and wrong) — the way Jesus did. Jeff Simon and Brian Cafferty will lead a discussion and prayer time following each video presentation.



	What Are ETS Groups? ETS groups (Equipping The Saints) are adult small groups which meet weekly to provide help in specific areas of the Christian life. Many ETS groups meet on Wednesday evening while children are involved in the Children’s Ministries at Calvary. The goal of the ETS ministry is to help believers grow strong in their faith. Our ETS groups are designed to help make a Connection, which is one of the 5 Pillars of Spiritual Growth. Those who get involved in one of the ETS groups below will be encouraged with the progress they see in their lives.
